How to make Tire Swings - Do It Yourself Tire Swings . Here you will find Ideas on making different types of tire swings and tire swing hardware.

Tire swings can be made three or more different ways .The basic "Old Fashion style "is very common. The tire swing is simply hung with one piece of rope or chain from a tree branch. Oviously this method will require a nice size tree with a sturdy branch to hang the tire swing from. Another way to hang a tire swing is using some tire swing eye bolts and one tire swing swivel. Pictured here are the two ways to hang a tire swing using the hardware. One way is to install Three Tire Swing Eye Bolts evenly around the tire thus using three support chains or rope to hang the swing.

As you see here below, Four Tire Swing Eye Bolts can be used with four support chains or ropes to hang the tire swing.

Another way to make a tire swing is to suspend it from a beam using a Tire Swivel.
